Sarah McMahon

Sarah is an Exercise Physiologist who brings clinical experience and a passion for helping people move with confidence. Her journey into the profession began unexpectedly; after initially enrolling in engineering, she realised her true interests lay in supporting people to improve their health and quality of life. This led her to pursue a career centred around movement, rehabilitation, and the remarkable capacity of the human body to adapt and grow stronger.

With experience spanning across clinical Exercise Physiology and previous work as a rehabilitation consultant in the workers compensation and CTP sectors, Sarah offers a well rounded and practical understanding of injury recovery and functional capacity. Her background in ergonomics and manual handling education further strengthens her holistic approach to helping clients return to safe, confident movement.

Sarah enjoys working with a broad range of clients, from children through to older adults. She has particular interests in osteopenia and osteoporosis management, shoulder rehabilitation, and supporting individuals with limb loss or amputation. She is passionate about guiding people through the challenges and successes of their rehabilitation journey, finding great reward in seeing clients exceed their own expectations.

Her clinical approach is warm, encouraging, and evidence based. Sarah values building genuine connections and creating an environment where clients feel supported to challenge themselves. She focuses on education and movement confidence, tailoring each program to suit the individual and their goals.

Outside the clinic, Sarah loves staying active, travelling, and exploring new places. She enjoys discovering great food and coffee spots and often spends her free time outdoors, gardening, building, or simply moving in whatever way feels good.
