Sarah Barkla

Hi, I'm Sarah. I grew up in Wagga Wagga after moving from Melbourne when I was 7. When finishing my HSC at TRAC, I moved to Wollongong for 3 years to study a Bachelor of Exercise Science. I am currently having a year off, working full time, before I decide what I go onto study next. I joined the Active team because this role allows me to gain experience in a health setting, interacting with a range of clients with varying injuries and seeing firsthand the environment the clinicians work in, which I will hopefully benefit from once completing my degree. The most rewarding part of supporting the Active Health team and community is seeing clients' progress and being able to facilitate that by making it a smooth and comfortable process. When I am not in the clinic, you will usually find me playing netball or at the gym, going for walks and coffee, or spending time with my family and friends. I also love going water skiing or spending time at our holiday house in Batemans Bay.
