Hi, I’m Anika, and I joined the Active Health team in February 2024. I grew up in the small country town of Temora before moving to Wagga to complete my Certificate III in Hairdressing, after finishing my Certificate III in Business Administration. My background has always centred around people-focused roles, and that’s what drew me to Active Health, being part of a supportive, community-minded team where I can help create positive experiences for every client who walks through our doors.
The most rewarding part of my role is the personal interactions I get to have each day. I love being able to support both our clients and our team, and to help make each visit warm, welcoming, and enjoyable. Being part of a workplace that values connection and community is something I really appreciate.
Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me keeping busy with the things I love - playing netball for the Lockhart Football & Netball Club, spending quality time with my family and friends, or working alongside my fiancé on renovations at our home. I’m currently in my second year of Bachelor of Teaching, as I’m passionate about working with children and helping shape the bright futures ahead of them.
