Orthotics in Wagga

Tailored Orthotic solutions and footwear guidance for comfort, function and pain relief

Comfort, flexibility, and functional support

At Active Health Riverina, we offer a range of flexible, comfortable, and slimline orthotics that fit easily into a variety of footwear — from runners and football boots to work or dress shoes.

Our orthotics are designed to work with your feet, not against them.
They’re not hard or bulky, allowing the muscles, tendons, and 33 joints in each foot to move naturally within their ideal range of motion.

Why choose flexible Orthotics?

We believe orthotics should complement your body’s natural movement — not replace it.

Orthotics can play an important role in reducing pressure or load through specific areas of the foot while we build strength and resilience in the surrounding tissues.

At Active Health, orthotics are just one part of a complete treatment plan that may also include:

  • Exercise rehabilitation
  • Strengthening programs
  • Manual therapy
  • Foot and ankle taping
  • Training advice
  • Footwear assessment and education

Building stronger feet for the long term

Orthotics don’t need to be a life sentence.
Our goal is to help you build the capacity of your foot and ankle muscles so that, over time, you’re less dependent on orthotic support.

Depending on your goals and assessment findings, your podiatrist will recommend an orthotic plan that fits your needs:

  • Short Term (<6 months) – temporary support during recovery or rehabilitation.
  • Medium Term (6–12 months) – progressive strengthening and transition support.
  • Long Term (>12 months) – ongoing management for chronic or structural conditions.

Types of Orthotics we offer

Custom Orthotics

Manufactured using an exact 3D image of your feet, our 3D-printed orthotics represent the latest in custom design and technology. They’re created from high-performance, flexible, and ultra-lightweight materials to deliver superior comfort, function, and durability.

Pre-made Orthotics

We also offer soft, pre-fabricated orthotics that can be heat-moulded and adjusted in our clinic for a semi-custom fit. These are ideal for short-term management, specific conditions, or as a cost-effective option for children’s growing feet.
